GRAAFF-REINET NEWS & VIDEO - Black Friday saw consumers gathering in front of Graaff-Reinet shops since 4am this morning, Friday 29 November.
Owner of the local Pick n Pay franchise, Cheryl Waddelow said people stacked their shopping trolleys with televisions and other electrical appliances.
“It is, however, the groceries that are the favourite on the shopping list of the early bird buyers. Coffee, sugar, chicken, cheese and other food filled the first trolleys."

At Shoprite, the people could not wait for 7am. The front door was broken out, with frame and all, as the last seconds were ticking before the shop opened.
People rushed into the shop to make sure they get their share of the Black Friday deals.
