Update
KAROO NEWS - Nomphelo Maloyi and Lwazi Kay appeared in court again on Monday 27 September for the premeditated murder of Maloyi''s uncle, Mynhardt Maloyi.
It is alleged that Maloyi and Kay conspired to kill the 66-year-old for the payout of a life insurance policy of which Maloyi was the beneficiary.
The case was postponed again until 5 October for further investigation. The District Public Prosecutor (DPP) is awaiting the final investigation report to determine where the case will be heard.
If the information at the disposal of the DPP indicates that the case is of a very serious nature, it will be referred to the High Court in Grahamstown, otherwise it will proceed in the regional court.
