KAROO NEWS - Less than four years since obtaining her education degree*, Kelly Februarie has been appointed head of the foundation phase department at Kamdebo Primary School in Graaff Reinet - a celebration of the success she has achieved in her short teaching career.
Februarie’s rapid career progression is testament to her exceptional abilities and dedication to education.
She attributes her success to the inclusive education principles she learned during her studies.
“What we were exposed to in terms of inclusive education during our studies and teaching experience throughout the four-year-degree, is, in actual fact, a reality for me today. It is so exciting that I am applying inclusive education principles in my classroom every day,” says February.
Seen as young blood in her school, February has brought fresh perspective and innovative teaching methods to her colleagues.
