NATIONAL NEWS - Eskom continues to struggle with capacity after the Kusile Unit tripped yesterday.
South Africa’s state owned electricity utility Eskom said it would implement Stage 2 rotational power cuts or load shedding on Friday, from 08:00 to 23:00 due to a shortage of capacity.
Stage 2 load shedding will affect the Garden Route district | Karoo as follows:
- George and Uniondale: Not affected
- Sedgefield: Not affected
- Knysna will be off from 14:00-16:30
- Mossel Bay will be off from 14:00-16:30
- Riversdale will be off from 14:00-16:30
- Diepkloof Heidelberg will be off from 20:00-22:30
- Slangrivier will be off from 20:00-22:30
- Albertinia will be off from 14:00-16:30
- Stilbaai will be off from 14:00-16:30
- Oudtshoorn will be off from 14:00-16:30
- Graaff-Reinet will be off from 13:00-15:30
