A total of 32 ministers and 43 deputy ministers have been sworn in on Wednesday 3 July, to form a cabinet of 75. It is the country's 7th democratic administration, and one of the largest national executives in democratic South Africa. The Government of National Unity (GNU) includes the ANC, DA, IFP, PA, Good, PAC, FF Plus, UDM, Al Jama-ah, Rise Mzansi and the UAT - a total of 11 parties. Of these parties, 9 were drawn in to form the cabinet. The breakdown of ministers are as follows: ANC (22), DA (6), IFP (2), PA (1), Good (1), PAC (1), FF Plus (1). This adds up to 32 ministers, excluding president Cyril Ramaphosa and deputy president Paul Mashatile, both from the ANC. The breakdown of deputy ministers (43) are as follows: ANC (33), DA (6), IFP (2), UDM (1), Al Jama-ah (1).
