NATIONAL NEWS - One of the men accused of murdering Port Elizabeth teacher Jayde Panayiotou is still in a coma.
Sizwezakhe Vumazonkhe’s ill health was revealed during a pre-trial hearing at the Port Elizabeth High Court earlier this week.
He’s set to stand trial along with three others in October, in connection with Panayiotou’s murder last year.
The victim’s husband Christopher Panayiotou is believed to have orchestrated his wife’s killing, allegedly because she was a financial burden.
The police say no foul play is suspected in connection with Vumazonkhe’s ill health. Officers say they are therefore not investigating.
