Businesses invited to Chamber of Commerce AGM

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Graaff-Reinet Chamber of Commerce will host their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday evening, 31 May at the Karoopark Guesthouse at 17:30 for 18:00.

The AGM is an important yearly function for all members in good standing to attend.

The AGM gives the Graaff-Reinet Chamber of Commerce an opportunity to communicate with members, it also enables members to participate in the governance of the Chamber by electing the executive committee.

Members can expect a report on activities and successes of the past year, learn about organisational initiatives for the year ahead, ask questions about the financial statements and pass a motion to accept the slate of executive committee as presented.

The guest speaker for the event will be tax expert Advocate Peter O’ Halloran who will talk about 'The Perfect Structure' - For Security and Tax Efficiency.
