GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the northern parts of the West Coast District, Cape Winelands, Little Karoo and Central Karoo and the Swellendam Municipality today, Thursday 11 December and over the Central and Little Karoo as well as the Swellendam municipal area tomorrow.
The South African Weather Services also advises of a Yellow level 2 warning for damaging winds and waves leading to difficulty in navigation at sea and localised disruption to beachfront activities, expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas from Friday evening, spreading to Plettenberg Bay on Saturday morning.

Western Cape
Partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot in places over the interior, mainly the eastern parts. The wind along the coast will be light easterly to south-easterly becoming fresh north-westerly in the west and south-west and south-westerly in the evening, but moderate south-easterly along the south coast.

Western half of the Eastern Cape
Warm in places along the coast, otherwise fine and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.
Eastern half of the Eastern Cape
Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers in the north. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly.
