GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Union's results of the first B Age Group gala for the new season are very encouraging.
Seventeen Union swimmers travelled to Port Elizabeth for this gala, which was held at the Newton Park Indoor pool on Saturday, November 18.
For some, it was their first experience at a B Gala and are now keen to work on improving their times.
Most of the regular swimmers improved their times recorded during the first term, even though it is early in the season.
The following learners did well to be placed in the top three in their age group in the different events:
Kelly Chester (first and second place), Kendall Krige (third place), Michael Krige (two first places), Ben Kroon (two first places and two second places), Jade Shires (first place) and Jason Wright (two second places and two thrid places).
