BOWLS NEWS - Only two of the three round-robin games could be concluded on Saturday 8 July at the Western Suburbs Bowling Club and the remaining game, plus the final, has been postponed to 2 September.

The Steynberg, Wakeford and Colyn combination still has an outside chance of finishing second in their section, hoping that the Stan Long trio will defeat the Paul Spriggs team. 

If so, shot difference will come into play with the proviso that the Graaff-Reinet combination can record a convincing victory against their opponents as there is a 15-shot difference between Spriggs and Steynberg.

Midland Fours

The Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club will host the Midland Fours competition for men and women on 22 and 23 July. The winners of the competition will then compete in the EP Fours Final the following weekend at a venue still to be announced.
