GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The South African Weather Centre issued a warning against strong winds that may result in damage to settlements, properties, and temporary structures as well as disruption to roads and risk of runaway fires.
The warning is valid for Friday 7 July to Saturday 8 July, and it is expected that the Baviaans, Graaff-Reinet, and Jansenville in the Dr Beyers Naude Municipal area will be affected.
Residents are advised to be aware of fallen trees or power lines, flying debris, and sudden cross winds when traveling, especially between buildings, and to ensure that all temporary structures are well anchored.
