ABERDEEN NEWS - A teacher at Luxolo Intermediate School in Thembalesizwe, Aberdeen, has tested positive for Covid-19, and the school has been closed for deep-cleaning.
The remaining staff members were tested today (Monday). Once they have received their results, a decision will be made on the reopening of the school.
About 40 Grade 7s returned to school last week, divided into two small classes to ensure social distancing. At this point, no pupils have been tested, but all have been screened.
