Update
GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Xolile Galada and Maureen Malaya again appeared before court last week, Thursday 3 August.
Galada and Malaya appeared in court for the first time on 5 July after the Dr Beyers Naude municipality filed and ex parte motion for a final interdict against them and ten other people for their alleged involvement in the unlawful invasion of municipal property.
The property is between Merino- and Aster Streets in Kroonvale, Graaff-Reinet.
Freek Adams, Geraldine Moorman and Portia Moos, who have taken up residence on the property over the period of 17 to 18 June, appeared before court for their eviction hearing on 12 July, but the case was postponed until Monday 7 August to allow them time to obtain legal representation. The three, as well as Galada and Malaya, will be back in court on 16 August.
