GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Emergency services are calling on drivers to be vigilant.
The death toll on Graaff-Reinet and surrounding roads rose to 22 on Friday.
Graig Hamilton from Relay EMS says the statistics are worrying: "We want people to reach their loved ones; not be involved in accidents."
Hamilton pleads that drivers take a rest every now and then. He said fatigue and speeding are the main causes of accidents: "It is not nice to see people dying in accidents on their way to their family or holiday destination."
