GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - All 10 alleged illegal immigrants that were pulled over yesterday afternoon (25 March), as they left Graaff-Reinet en-route to Port Elizabeth, are in custody at the Graaff-Reinet SAPS.
None of them could give proof of South African passports.
Police Spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson said this morning (26 March) that the passengers are in custody as alleged illegal immigrants.
It was confirmed at Midland Hospital yesterday evening that all of the passengers were tested for the coronavirus before the police took them away.
The vehicle they were travelling in was taken away from the scene by police. No one was allowed to touch the vehicle on scene. A doctor and at least two nurses were on the scene, assisting the police.
