Lawless Town
Having spent at least five holidays in Nieu-Bethesda I was shocked to hear and see how it has become a Lawless Crime Spot. Best you highlight this to the public and help the poor residents of Nieu-Bethesda.
They had 12 break-ins in one weekend, drunk youths everywhere, 40 dogs poisoned to death last year.
The new road to the Pienaarsig area is a race track and cars don't stop at stop signs. There are cars with no number plates and pounding music all over.
They are stealing petrol from cars and nearly all state fencing has been stolen, with its poles.
The forest has been destroyed by reckless cutting of trees and the Sport Club and caravan park are vandalised.
The public toilet is destroyed and the bricks of the water furrows are stolen ... the list goes on.
