MIDDELBURG NEWS - For the first time in the history of Ekuphumleni Secondary in Middelburg, nine athletes of the school have qualified for the athletics meet in Gqeberha.
The highest number from the school qualifying for this round in the past, was three.
The athletes took part in Cradock on Saturday 18 February and will now compete in Gqeberha from 2 to 4 March.
The school salutes the team managers, Mr A. Nosana (coach), Mr Mbebe (head of sport), Mr Mahono (vice head), Mr Cetyiwe (kit manager), Mr Kobe (organiser) and Mrs Stuurman (treasurer).
