MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A helicopter crash landed just outside Mossel Bay, directly next to the N2, this morning.
It is believed that the 23-year-old student pilot was practicing manoeuvres when he lost control of the helicopter at approximately 09:15.
He was alone in the helicopter at the time.
The helicopter came down in a field approximately 200 meters from the N2, close to the Hokaai road stall.
The pilot did not sustain any serious injuries.
The accident will, as a matter of protocol, be reported to the South African Civil Aviation Authority for further investigation.
