GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Graaff-Reinet Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide, after a white Ford Ranger bakkie traveling on the N9 road near Graaff Reinet, collided with a donkey this morning.
Police Spokesperson, captain Bradley Rawlinson, said the donkey was crossing the N9.
"The driver lost control of the bakkie, causing the vehicle to roll,” Rawlinson said.
He added that when emergency services arrived at the accident scene they found a 70-year-old-woman had died.
Four injured passengers were transported to Midland Hospital in Graaff-Reinet.
