"Never before has Hofmeyr seen so many opportunities for skills development being made available," said Mariaan Schoeman, Logistical and Financial Manager at Hofmeyr Hugs of Hope. "May you be blessed in all your endeavours and challenges, and may all of you find new ventures and experience a bright and blessed future."
The guest speaker, Ncebekazi Mbewu, was born and bred in Hofmeyr. She matriculated from Cradock High School and obtained her Batchelor of Education degree from Nelson Mandela University in 2020. She is employed in Komani as a mathematics teacher.
"No matter where you are in life, no matter who you are, it is never too late to be who you want to be. Know where you are going, the world will make a way. You can not aim for something if you don't know what it is. Dream big, your life does not get better by choice, it gets better by change. Change your habits, change how you look at yourself, change your habits, change how you speak to yourself, and change the things that you do not like about yourself. "
