ABERDEEN NEWS - The large-scale search for the missing Tri-Annette ‘Kleintjie’ Mintoor (6)is still ongoing.
Mintoor was reported missing on 29 July after she visited a friend on the farm, The Ranges, in a mountainous area approximately 70km from home between Aberdeen and Murraysburg.
It is alleged that she was last seen around 18:00 on 28 July, and then left for home on gravel to her parents' house on the farm Perseverance on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Police spokesman, Captain Bradley Rawlinson, said this morning (1 August) that the Graaff-Reinet Community Safety Group (GVE) was called in to assist the police in the search for Mintoor.
The SAPS Graaff-Reinet, Aberdeen and Port Elizabeth Uniform Unit, Mounted Unit, Family, Child and Sexual, as well as farmers, farmworkers and community members embarked on the search yesterday morning.
Mintoor was last seen dressed in a blue shirt, blue jean and white and black jogging shoes.
