KLIPPLAAT NEWS - Members of Klipplaat SAPS on patrol in the early hours of Saturday morning, 20 April were stopped by a member of the public accompanied by a distressed teenage girl.
The man said that he had heard a young woman crying, and when he went to investigate, he found an older teenage boy having intercourse with the girl, who was crying profusely.
The man managed to chase the boy away.
The girl was bleeding from her head and had other visible facial injuries. She was taken to Jansenville Hospital where she was admitted for treatment, and a case of rape was opened by one of the police officers on her behalf.
The attacker is known to his victim.
