ABERDEEN NEWS - Friendly and spunky; a real go-getter.
This is how Petro Marx, owner of the farm Perseverance in Aberdeen, describes Tri-Annette 'Kleintjie' Mintoor (6), who has been missing from the area for over 23 days.
PREVIOUS ARTICLE: KLEINTJIE STILL MISSING
Kleintjie lived on the farm with her parents, farmworkers Abraham and Felicity Reiners, and was reported missing on 29 July. It was reported at the time of her disappearance that Kleintjie left home on 27 July to watch a group of workers shave sheep on a different farm, 70km away. She was last seen on 28 July at around 18:00, when she allegedly ventured home alone on a gravel road.
According to Marx, the girl's parents continue to hope that Kleintjie will be found. "There is no clue as to where she might be, but of course we will all continue hoping," Marx said.
Capt Bradley Rawlinson, Graaff-Reinet SAPS Spokesperson, said on Tuesday that there is still no trace of Kleintjie. "The search will continue and Graaff-Reinet Detectives are following all information," he said.
"She is such a lovely child, it's impossible to think that she is just gone," Marx added. Kleintjie, who attended Aberdeen Primary, will turn seven on 18 November.
Kleintjie was last seen dressed in a blue shirt, blue jean and white and black jogging shoes.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts can phone the Aberdeen Police on 049 846 0413 or the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Valomia Abrahams on 071 352 4524.
