GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Tri-Annette 'Kleintjie' Mintoor (6) of Aberdeen is still missing.
Police spokesperson, Capt Bradley Rawlinson, confirmed on Tuesday that the search in the mountainous area between Aberdeen and Murraysburg is still underway.
Mintoor left her parental home on the farm Perseverance on 27 July to spend time with a friend, approximately 70km away, on the farm The Ranges.
She was last seen the evening of 28 July and reported missing on 29 July.
The SAPS, from as far as Port Elizabeth, supported by the community, farm workers and farmers from surrounding areas since then search started, but could not find Mintoor.
Rawlinson said the police are following up on every possible clue and analysing all information, in an attempt to locate Mintoor.
Initial information is that she wanted to go home and left The Ranges, but this could not be confirmed.
Mintoor was last seen dressed in a blue shirt, blue jean and white and black jogging shoes.
Anyone with information on Mintoor’s whereabouts can phone the Aberdeen Police on 049 846 0413 or the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Valomia Abrahams on 071 352 4524.
