MURRAYSBURG NEWS - Actor David Butler, a popular part-time resident of Murraysburg, has been diagnosed with cancer. After a very difficult 2020, David is now faced with this new monster to defeat, and he and his family are doing everything in their power to raise the necessary funds to pay for the treatment which is not going to be covered by his medical aid.
He has started a BackaBuddy fundraising page where a significant amount of medical costs have been raised, but there is still quite a way to go.
In order to help raise funds for his treatment, Ruby June is hosting an online show on Facebook, David Butler Fundraiser, at 20:00 on Friday 29 January, asking only that if you are able to give, that you donate towards David's treatment.
The show is thus completely free, but please do make a donation if you are able to.
Ruby June will be playing original material as well as cover songs by other well-known artists in an acoustic folk-rock style, with Ruby on guitar and vocals, joined by Paul Avenant on percussion.
