GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - An eclectic mix of art lovers and professionals from all over South Africa came to Graaff-Reinet last weekend for the opening of two joint exhibitions, Michele Nigrini's Outside in solo exhibition at Imibala Gallery and a group exhibition, In conversation with colour symphony, at the Jan Rupert Art Centre.
During a most charming evening on Friday 5 March featuring the perfect mood music, and wine and snacks supplied by the Drostdy Hotel, visitors admired and bought their favourite paintings. A handful of Graaff-Reinet Imibala faithful was present and enjoyed the relaxed evening.
This was the first Jan Rupert Museum and Imibala Gallery collaboration, but not the last.
The joint exhibitions run until 15 May.
