RUGBY NEWS - Embattled Vodacom Bulls coach Nollis Marais has vowed to fight on, although he wants to forget the massacre at the hands of the Crusaders as quickly as possible.
Marais fronted up to the media after his side conceded their biggest points defeat in Vodacom Super Rugby history at their home ground of Loftus Versfeld, saying there were only two options left to his management and team. Either they fight, or they sit in the corner and let themselves be kicked while they were down.
The fighting talk may be the right thing for the coach at the moment, and while he admitted he knew all too well that there was anger and hurt outside because of the performances of the side, Marais said he could not sit back and think about his job right now, because he needed to get the team right ahead of the next New Zealand team to arrive in Pretoria in the form of the Highlanders.
