GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS - The Personal Trust/Tops at Spar Open Day drew was another resounding success and more than 26 pairs from bowling clubs all over the Karoo.
Ulrich Steynberg and Johan van der Nest, both from Tarkastad, won the competition with Graaff-Reinet's Peter van der Berg and Ivor Wakeford the runners-up. Personal Trust and Tops at Spar sponsored the popular event.
The next bowling event on the Midlands-area calendar is the widely-known and always well-supported Honeymoon Pairs, which takes place in Somerset East this weekend.
