MOSSEL BAY SPORTS NEWS - Three Mossel Bay surfers have qualified to participate in the Sea Harvest SA Junior Championships in Jeffreys Bay at the end of this month.
Jesse Olivier (U14), Kane Johnstone (U16) and Indi Swanepoel (U18) have been making Mossel Bay proud and are already in the Eden surfing team.
The boys have grown up on the beach and Kane started surfing when he was 10 years old. This is his second year representing the Eden district at the SA championships.
Jesse started surfing when he was five years old, doing small waves at Buffalo Bay. His family moved to Mossel Bay in 2016, where he started surfing at Dias Beach with his father.
Jesse soon joined the Surf's Up Surf School, where he progressed until he learnt how to read the waves at Outer and Inner Pool. When Indi is not on land he is in the water, perfecting his surfing skills.
