GRAAFF-REINET SPORT NEWS - This week, from October 10 to 13, local schools are once again be battling it out in various sporting codes such as rugby, netball, soccer and volleyball in high school and primary school level in what has become a much anticipated annual tournament.
This event is being hosted by the District Office of the Department of Education in Graaff-Reinet - in collaboration with the local municipality and sponsors, The Gold Rush Foundation, Burger Inn, Nedbank, Old Mutual, Brian Bands and Drostdy Toyota .
It is expected that more than 1 000 learners will be participating in the event.
Members of the community are encouraged to support this event - so make sure you don’t miss it!
The event will be held at the Collie Koeberg Sports Complex with each day’s sporting activities kicking off at 08:30.
This event was established as a means to secure a bursary fund for less fortunate learners to further their studies.
