GRAAFF-REINET SPORT NEWS - The Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club held its annual prizegiving on Saturday 28 November, where top bowler Elna de Klerk was awarded a whopping six prizes in total.
Throughout the year, De Klerk won the Ladies’ Open Singles and Ladies’ Senior Singles and was runner up in the Mixed Chosen Pairs with teammate Ivor Wakeford, and second in Ladies’ Chosen Pairs, with teammate Alet Slabbert.
De Klerk was also awarded the Marlie Hayward Cup for a non-committee member that has done the most for the club this year. It comes as no surprise that she was also awarded the Victrix Ludorum.
