GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS - Much-welcomed rain on Saturday couldn't prevent 10 fearless Graaff-Reinet bowlers from competing in the Spar Handicap Pairs competition.
Team Ivor Wakeford and Hannatjie Whitlock proved to be particularly skilled at playing in the rain and won the competition.
Runners-up were Niel Colyn, Richard Murray and Joggie Vorster. The trio made up a Trips team because of uneven numbers.
Club Open Singles, Seniors and Novices competitions will take place later this month.
