SURFING NEWS - Australians Molly Picklum and Jack Robinson have taken top honours at the Lexus Tahiti Pro Presented by I-SEA, the final regular-season stop on the 2025 World Surf League Championship Tour.
The iconic “End of the Road” delivered powerful six-to-eight-foot barrels as the event locked in the men’s and women’s Final 5, crowned the Rookies of the Year, and produced standout performances.
Picklum unstoppable in maiden Tahiti win
Picklum dominated the women’s final against reigning World Champion Caity Simmers (USA), posting 17.26 to Simmers’ 4.94 – one of the highest totals of the season.
The 22-year-old’s win cements her No. 1 ranking heading into the Lexus WSL Finals in Fiji later this month.
"What a special place, Tahiti. It’s where the dream comes alive. I finished number one this year – a massive step in the right direction," she said.
Robinson delivers dream finish
Jack Robinson produced a fairytale result, winning both the men’s event and a place in the Final 5. His ninth CT win saw him overcome close friend Griffin Colapinto (USA) in the final, highlighted by a 9.50 barrel.
"I had a mission and went for it. Blessed to be going to Fiji – it comes down to the last one and we’re right there again," Robinson said.
