GRAAFF-REINET BOWLS NEWS - Last Wednesday evening, the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club held its prize-giving and Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the clubhouse.
The meeting was well directed by the club's President, Ron?l Krige and she had great pleasure in presenting the President's Cup to Gawie Rossouw.
As a non-member, Rossouw went out of his way to restore the club's greens and also assisted with many other tasks.
The incoming committee for 2019 is: Ron?l Krige (President), Pieter Nel (Vice-President), Richard Murray (Treasurer), Eddie Brett-Rite (Secretary) and the Additional Members are Thinus Ferreira, Peter van den Berg, Andries Erasmus and Bernie Prinsloo.
The Malie Hayward trophy, given to a non-committee member for services rendered, beyond the call of duty, was presented to Eddie Brett-Rite.
