EP invites eight local bowlers

EP invites eight local bowlers

SPORT NEWS - The fact that eight bowlers from Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club have been invited to an EP squad practice in Gqeberha on 14 and 15 October is evidence of the good year the bowlers have enjoyed.

The bowlers are:

  • Ladies - Sonja Matthee, Charlene Colyn, Riana du Toit and Helene de Wet
  • Men - Arthur Langley, Wally Koetaan, Ulrich Steynberg and Martin Verwey

This popular tournament, featuring 36 teams (144 bowlers), takes place on the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club's greens from 20 to 22 October and spectators are welcome to come to the club and see great bowls being played.

The next event will be the 2023 Summer Business League, which commences on 26 October. The club is inviting everyone to organise their team and enjoy five weeks of fun and good bowls.
