SPORT NEWS - On Thursday evening 26 October, the first round of the Summer Business League commenced on the greens of the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club and 34 teams (136 players) took part.
There were 17 unbeaten teams, and the top 10 sides are as follows:
- PG Glass 2 + 22
- Spar 2 + 14; BIG 5, Nommerpas and
- Pick & Pay all on 2 + 10
- BKB 2 + 9
- Rolling Monties and HVS on 2 + 8
- Rapportryers and Profcon 1 on 2 + 6.
Eastern Province Bowls
The EP Masters Singles took place at the Westview Bowling Club on the weekend of 28 and 29 October in Gqeberha.
Arthur Langley won gold in the Men's competition, while Charlene Colyn picked up bronze in the Ladies' competition.
Both bowlers are members of the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club.
