There was an air of expectancy with the presence of South-African lawn and indoor bowler, Neil Burkett, also participating on the day.
Burkett represented South-Africa more than 500 times as a SA champion.
In the end, it was Tienie Prinsloo from Cradock, Wally Koetaan, Deon and Sonja Matthee, all from Jansenville, who walked off as winners.
The club also congratulated Niel Colyn for winning a silver medal during the EP Masters Singles.
President of the club Ronel Krige thanked all those who contributed to making the day a huge success.
This was the third time this year that Personal Trust sponsored an open bowling day, as they hope to invest more in Graaff-Reinet and the region's bowls.
Krige said the fourth event is already in its final stage of planning and will take place on Saturday 2 November.
Carl Vermeulen, manager of Port-Elizabeth Personal Trust, said they will also sponsor a big bowls day in town at the end of October, called the Gem of the Karoo.
After the competitive bowling on Saturday, players, organisers and managers enjoyed a free meal.
Next on the bowling calendar is the Midlands Trips, which will take place in Cradock this weekend.
