GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS - Fourteen bowlers, of which six were women and eight men, battled it out on the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club greens on Saturday 3 August to decide the Chosen Pairs champions for 2019.
Jonathan van der Rheede and Dennis Rosslee were the only undefeated men's combination after two rounds, with four game points and + 27 shots. Their closest rival was the duo of Eddie Brett-Rite and Thinus Ferreira.
These two sides played each other in the final round, where Van der Rheede and Rosslee won the title by four shots.
In the women's category, the combination of Marenda Lückhoff and Elna de Klerk recorded two four-shot wins to claim the title.
