GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The final event in the biathlon season is the SA Biathlon Championships, which is to be held in Pretoria at the end of March.

The number of Union learners participating in biathlon has increased this season and each Union biathlete has improved on his or her personal times, where an athlete must achieve on the track (long distance 1000m / 2000m) as well as in the swimming pool (100m).
Congratulations to the following on their selection to the EP Team to attend SA Championships:
Girls U.15: Kendal Krige; Boys U.15: Corniel Vorster (Reserve); Girls U.17: Micela Loock (Reserve); Jenna McNaughton (Reserve) - both Micela and Jenna have been included in the Senior Ladies Team; Girls U.19: Candice Russell; Boys U.19: Cameron Muir.
