GRAAFF-REINET BOWLING NEWS - The final round of the Mr Paint/ Flashcor Printing sponsored Business League, takes place this Thursday evening, 14 March, on the greens of the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club, at 17:30.
After four rounds there was only one unbeaten team, namely Spandau Spar on eight game points + 30 shots. PG Glass is second on 6 + 29, closely followed by Camdeboo Spar on 6 + 26.
The fourth spot belongs to BKB on 6 + 18, with Huis Eybers on 6 + 14 laying 5th.
Nel Boerdery comes in at 6th on 6 + 11, while Drostdy Toyota - on 6 + 6 are three shots clear of Midboard.
The winners of the game between Spandau Spar and PG Glass will be for the shield, while all the prizes on offer will be on a lucky draw basis.
- Three local bowlers, namely Niel and Charlene Colyn and Arthur Langley are currently representing Eastern Province at the SA Inter Districts played in Gauteng.
It was a great opening day for the Men and the Ladies! The Men picked up 22 points out of a possible 24, while the Ladies kept the Province flag flying high with 21/24.
