GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The combination of Shawn West and Fanie van der Merwe proved too strong for the other seven teams that played in the Spandau Spar Pairs last Saturday afternoon, March 18 at the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club.
* This weekend features the Senior and Novice Singles competitions for men and women on the greens of the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club. Bowlers not involved in the competition are requested to assist in the marking of these games. Marking is often a thankless but crucial part of the game of singles, so the committee appeals to its members to be part of the game.
* Members are also reminded to take part in the Trips game against the visiting British squad on Sunday, April 2. A request has been put to the club to field 27 bowlers on that day.
