GRAAFF-REINET SPORT NEWS - On Saturday 15 October a very popular 2-ball Better ball golfing day, the Graaff-Reinet Primary School Golf Day, was contested on the well-maintained Graaff-Reinet golf course.

The first golfer tee off at 09:00 and at the closure of the play Godwin Bosch and Richard Swartz were declared winners of the tournament with 48 points each.

Clive Ludick and R Goliath ended in second place with 46 points while Bernie Weyer and PG Krige came in a very close third with a score of 46 points.

Niek Steyn and Piet Meyer came fourth with 46 points.

Jaques Wagener and Colin Warner came in fifth with 44 points.

Promising youngster, Johndré Ludick jr, was seen contesting with senior golfers.

Reminder: Boere vs Dorpers competition on 29 October at Graaff-Reinet Golf Club.
