GRAAFF-REINET FOOTBALL NEWS - To keep local soccer players in tip-top condition three local soccer matches were scheduled for last Sunday's Three Nations tournament in Kroonvale.
Black Aces beat Galaxy Football Club 2-1 while Protea Spurs beat Galaxy with 5-0.
The coaches of the teams said the friendly matches were necessary to prepare them for the upcoming season.
They were impressed by the fitness levels and skills displayed by most players. The league matches will commence in September.
