Local clubs prepare for MySafa registration

FOOTBALL NEWS - A junior football league was played on 1 and 2 September at the Masizakhe Stadium in preparation for this league to join MySafa.

"Football is a popular sport code in our communities," said Khwezi Xalisa of the Jose Mourinho FC. "We can only promote, advance, encourage, assist, and protect the interest of the game by developing our clubs and other associations."

Who is MySafa

MySafa is Safa's official and only Fifa-integrated football player registration and competition management system.

All Safa leagues, including the Hollywoodbets Super League, ABC Motsepe, Sasol, and Men's Regional Leagues, use MySafa to register players, publish fixtures and capture results. By working together with all football stakeholders – from Fifa down to the smallest grassroots clubs – MySafa has created a digital ecosystem focused on transparency, efficiency, service delivery and uniting the football community.

Every club and player registered on MySafa is issued with a Fifa Connect ID. This is used to record transfers, identify talent and help ensure that developing clubs receive Fifa training rewards for the players they develop.

"We want to develop all the elements of ball technique, passing and receiving, dribbling and scoring. Their tactical content as well as physical abilities can be intensively trained in exercise structures that are very similar to that of match situations," says Xalisa.
