GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Morocco Kids FC presented the family of Luthando “Khwalo” Xhanti with a framed soccer jersey in honour of their son.
The late Luthando was an outstanding soccer player for the Morocco Kids. Luthando died last year after he got sick.
Thembekile Fuba, the clubs' chairperson, said that Luthando was a humble and very quiet person.
"Sometimes you won’t even notice him among the others. He listens when corrected, he was the most experienced player."
He joined the Morocco Kids Club in 2016 coming from the XI Attackers club. He played for the Morocco Kids until he got sick.
He was in and out of the hospital from 2019 and 2020 until he died on 29 September 2021 and was laid to rest on 7 October 2021.
The framed T-Shirt was handed over by Monwabisi Phambo and Mncedisi Tshandu to Thandolwethu Lorena Xhanti who received the gift.
