GRAAFF-REINET CRICKET NEWS - Jordan Maritz, in Grade 3 at Union Preparatory School, has been recognised by the school for his outstanding cricket performance.
Maritz, who plays for the school's u. 9 cricket team, received the Man of the Match award for a fixture played against the Frans Conradie Primary School on 22 February.
In addition to scoring his first 50, Jordan also carried the bat for the 30-over match.
