When a detailed question about South Africa’s preparation for the Champions Trophy was put to him following his man-of-the-match performance against England in the third ODI at Lord’s on Monday, a question containing as many answers as questions, he smiled and replied: “Yes, exactly.”
It is hard, if not impossible to dislike or even begrudge such a response. He is a likeable young man and if reporters would like to hear his opinion, then they will need to learn that they don’t need to spoon feed him an answer.
