GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — The final round of the Tops @ Spandau Summer Business League, was played on the greens of the Graaff-Reinet Bowling Club last Thursday evening, December 1.
The GRT Cricket Club, comprising of Leslie du Pisanie, Henry Galloway, Dr Jan de Beer, Willie van Rensburg and Le Roux Fourie beat the PG Glass side by 10 shots to win the league on 10 game points and plus 26 shots. This huge defeat relegated PG Glass to the third spot, while Drostdy Toyota finished second on 8 + 39.
The summer version of the Business League came to a fitting end with a braai after the game and prize-giving.
• This Saturday afternoon, December 10 the Spandau Spar Handicap Pairs competition will take place with registered bowlers vying for the vouchers up for grabs.
