CRICKET NEWS - Have you got your cricketing lottery tickets yet? Well, when it comes to the ICC Champions trophy, picking the winner is like picking the winning numbers on the lotto.
Whenever it comes to ICC tournaments, the usual suspects are at the top of the bookies' lists. That's perhaps not the best analogy when it comes to cricket of late, but the likes of Australia, India, England and yes, those perennial 'favourites' South Africa are always there.
But the Champions Trophy, which begins on 1 June, has never proven to be a tournament of norms, neither has it allowed one team to dominate like the World Cup has, with Australia winning four out of the last five showpieces.
The mini-World Cup, as it is dubbed, has only had five outright winners in the tournament's history spanning 19 years and seven tournaments, with Australia having won it twice, and Sri Lanka and India sharing the trophy in 2002, which was hosted by Sri Lanka.
