7 from Cradock compete in CT Marathon

Seven athletes from Bonakele Running Academy in Cradock travelled to Cape Town to complete the 2024 Cape Town Marathon on 19 October. Bonakele Ntshangase broke the record for disabled persons.

Coach Bonakele Ntshangase, the first disabled runner to complete the 10km, with Lelethu Nani, the first woman runner from Cradock to complete the 10km.

GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Seven athletes from Bonakele Running Academy in Cradock travelled to Cape Town to complete the 2024 Cape Town Marathon on 19 October.
The following results were achieved:

10km

  • Bonakele Ntshangase 01:43 record disabled persons
  • Asanda Schutte 0:55
  • Siphesihle Nani 01:42 women
  • Lelethu Nani 01:35 women

42km

  • Thokoza Galada 04:51 women
  • Siphiwo Mnyumbela 03:10
  • Nomiselo Mhletyane 4 hours women
  • Themba Mzamo 4 hours
